MaMa's Craft Shack, LLC is a small hispanic-woman owned business from Jacksonville, Florida. Starting in 2021 shortly after COVID mask mandates ended, we were left with dozens of yards of fabric from mask making- PLUS a newfound passion for sewing and all things home... What's a frugal creative Mama to do? Waste not!

MaMa's Craft Shack, LLC is a small hispanic-woman owned business from Jacksonville, Florida. Starting in 2021 shortly after COVID mask mandates ended, we were left with dozens of yards of fabric from mask making- PLUS a newfound passion for sewing and all things home... What's a frugal creative Mama to do? Waste not!
From that point forward we started using new and reclaimed materials to create boutique artisan kitchenwares, quilts, and gifts. We started vending at pop ups across NE FL and later initated a beloved tri-neighborhood craft show held twice annually that lives on to this day! We are also proud to continue offering portions of our profits to charties, and as direct support of those in need.
In 2023 MaMa moved 'The Shack' from the tip top of Florida, straight down I-95 to glittering Miami to marry her high-school sweetheart. These days, we have a travel bug; vending our special recipie of art and talents up - down- and clear across the state of Florida (check out our events calendar). We've operated two consignment boutique shops for a period of time and are looking to expand our consignment reach! Inbetween time, we continue vending through social media, on our website, at local pop ups, festival, and even state level expos and craft shows. We LOVE being blessed to connect with everyone at each event and have several return customers following us through the years and even long distance.
Besides crafting our customer favorite bowl cozies, we offer custom textiles, t-shirt quilts, and can even help you with wedding or party favors and decor! She's the one behind the scenes, managing not only a business, but a seperate full-time job, a wife, and mother of 2-teenage boys, and metastatic thyroid cancer survivor. She is the hands at markets, the advertising agency, bookkeepr, artisan, and soo much more. It really is a labor of love. And keeping watch over it all? Our two resident feline supervisors, who oversee the creative process from the nearest sunny spot. We may be a small team, but we pour a whole lot of heart into every handmade piece—and when you shop with us, you become part of the MaMa’s Craft Shack family too.""Meet the heart behind the Shack!
